Mughal-e-Azam’s successful return to Dubai Opera

The spectacular stage adaptation of the Bollywood megahit and a winner of 7 Broadway World Awards has been stunning the audiences every since it first performed. The director Feroz Abbas Khan took the challenging task of adapting such an iconic movie and for the first time in India, picking a Broadway-style production to bring it to life.

But the risk was worth it as we can see after the musical’s second Dubai Opera tour (and the third one in Dubai all together) was again completely sold out.

Aside from the title sponsor Shapoorji Pallonji (the original producers of the Bollywood movie), Kanz Jewels played a huge role in making the tour possible. Anil Dhanak, Founder and Managing Director, is himself a huge fan of the production and was confident that the interest for this event is not subsiding one bit. As he attended the packed Dubai Opera, he was happy to see the amazing reactions of people who saw it for the first time, as well as hard-core fans coming back for more.
